Can you please help with my social media strategy?
I’m looking for someone to tell me more about what a good social media strategy is. I kind of know what social media is but what do I do with it?
First off, you didn’t say what you would need a social media strategy for. Do you have your own online company? Do you blog? Are you trying to get into Internet marketing? Social media is a marketing way to increase the traffic to a website or blog.
Before you can even establish a strategy, you have to know what your goal is. Do you just simply want more traffic to your site? Do you want to sell more products? Are you looking to make money off Adsense or a pay per click? Or do you just want to reach new people and network in order to get your name out in the Internet? All of these questions should be answered before you can build your strategy.
There are tons of different social media places that you can use. Networking sites like Twitter and Facebook are two and then there are social bookmarking sites like Digg and Stumbleupon. Each of the different sites is going to be used differently. I would check out www.mattbacak.com for more information as I have learned a lot from him. He has made it his livelihood doing Internet marketing using social media.
How can I improve my leads in real estate without expensive advertising?
I am fairly new iin this real estate game and my capital is limited. I Need new leads and any advise is welcome. I live in an area where prices are cheeper than most and we do not have a state income tax.
I’d love to know what you’re doing so far. Then it would be easier to suggest what to do next. One very basic first thing is to get business cards with a good photo of you on them – and make it a goal to hand out 10 every day.
You don’t need to be picky about who you give them to – could be the checker in the grocery store or a waitress who brings you coffee – or your dentist! Just make sure everyone knows that you’re in real estate sales and that you know the local market inside out. (And make sure you’re making it your business to really know the market!)
If someone wants to stop you when you’re shopping or even walking down the street so they can quiz you about a house or about the market in general, take the time to talk to them even if it feels like a waste of time.
I do have a 7-day Mini-marketing course designed just for beginners in the real estate field. There’s no charge, no obligation, and nothing required from you except your address to send the lessons to. You can get it by sending an email to realestatelessons@getresponse.com.
I’d love to have you join us!
